Wingdings Alphabet (A–Z & a–z)
In the Wingdings font system, uppercase and lowercase letters map to completely different symbols. Uppercase letters (A–Z) primarily represent hands, faces, and crosses, while lowercase letters (a–z) represent zodiac signs, stars, and asterisks.

Why Does Letter Case Matter in Wingdings?
Because Wingdings is a font that repurposes ASCII byte positions, typing in capital letters produces different glyphs than typing in lowercase letters. For instance, capital A outputs the Victory Hand (✌), whereas lowercase a outputs the Cancer zodiac sign (♋).
